Tee It Forward

Discover which teeing ground is your recommended playing distance based on national research in the Tee It Forward Initiative. Many golfers find themselves playing from yardages that are too long for their current distance.  The goal is that all golfers should be able to hit roughly the same club into a green (mid, short or sometimes long club), thus helping to increase pace of play, help golfers feel better and healthier, score lower and most of all, have more FUN!

The Landings Club launched the initial Tee It Forward initiative around 2012 and is now launching the next wave of guidelines at the Club.  Use the chart below to see where you fall based on your driver carry distance.  If between yardages, the shorter yardage is suggested but that's for a golfer to decide.... longer distances will create more reliance on a good short game and putting game, as well as longer club accuracy into tighter targets near the green.
