TLC Youth Golf League

Our Saturday Youth Golf League is open to golf members ages 4 and older.  Our goal is to encourage youngsters to come out and play, meet new friends, spend time with current golf friends, earn points towards team standings and learn to play the game by themselves as kids need to learn.  Pairings will be made by program coordinator PGA Assistant Golf Professional Derrick Caruso for either the 5 hole or 9 hole division using The Wave format.

The 2018 series will be played at a rotation of all six courses at The Landings Club.  Check-in and warm-up will begin at 1:30 followed by play of up to 5 or 9 holes.

Parents will be requested to help as volunteers on the course based on Positive Coaching Alliance guidelines in monitoring pace of play and safety only.

Parents may not coach or caddy for players / children (club choice, line-up, advice, shot selection, coaching tips, playing tips)... Let the Kids play and make their decisions, it's about self-discovery, learning and having fun kid-style for THEIR round of golf, not an adult's round of golf!  Kids will learn frmo their mistakes and our culture via Positive Coaching Alliance honors the fact that mistakes are how we learn and they are totally OK, we just brush it off and move forward!  We want to help our youngsters develop both on and off teh course and are focused on making them both better golfers and people with integrity, character-building and respect for themselves, others and the world in which they live.
